6.5 - Activity Requirements

California Highway Patrol | Standard Operating Procedures

Troopers in the California Highway Patrol are only expected to patrol twice per month, and document those patrols via the patrol activity log located in the California Highway Patrol information channel in the discord.

After 15 consecutive days of no reported activity, and once a promotion panel reviews members for activity, members who have no observed activity for 15 days time or more will be contacted directly via discord direct messages to inform them that they have been marked “Eligible For Removal” on the California Highway Patrol Roster.

After 30 consecutive days of no reported activity, and once a promotion panel reviews members for activity, members who have no observed activity for 30 days time will be removed from the California Highway Patrol roster, their California Highway Patrol roles will be removed in the discord, and a direct message may be used by the California Highway Patrol Chain of Command to notify them of their removal from the department. Chain of Command now have Activity Requirements as of today it will be a minimum of 8 hours every month which can be accumulated from trainings to being on general duties.
