California Highway Patrol | Standard Operating Procedures

The primary purpose of the Commissioner's office is to ensure all policies and procedures implemented in the California Highway Patrol are in the best interest of the safety and well being of the public, and officers of the department.

The office of the Commissioner uses their knowledge and experience to aptly run the department, and maintain order between all operations.

To better guide and train the California Highway Patrol and supply all officers with the correct guidance and training to be successful in all facets pertaining to the California Highway Patrol.
